Pedophile Apologists are a Threat to Civilization
With progressive activists constantly pushing for trans and gay rights during the 21st century’s dawn, conservatives and reactionaries who opposed them were constantly assured that these rights were for only for “consenting adults”. The reality-detached left mocked conservatives who questioned to what degree we should deviate from traditionally, proven models for raising a family. We were persuaded that extreme sexual degeneracy like bestialty or pedophilia would continue to be illegal.
While there is certainly nothing wrong with consenting adults entering in voluntary contracts, children are not capable of consenting like an adult and are not capable of consent until they emerge from puberty as young adults. There is scientific evidence to back this up, but that as usual does not stop leftists from finding yet another pet project to speak for.
Already, by publishing pieces like those of admitted pedophiles like Todd Nickerson, Salon and various other liberal media outlets are pushing for a “de-stigmatization” of pedophilia so pedophiles can “get help”. Salon has since removed the articles Nickerson wrote from their website from their site, presumably because of backlash. Nonetheless, a forum Nickerson frequents said the following in it’s description:
“Our website is intended to reduce the stigma attached to pedophilia by letting people know that a substantial number of pedophiles DO NOT molest children, and to provide peer support and information about available resources to help virtuous pedophiles remain law-abiding, and lead happy, productive lives. These are our stories. There are brief bios of the two founders of the site and collections of other personal stories.”
I didn’t think I’d hear myself saying this a year ago, but conservatives are right. Leftists are trying to normalize pedophilia after they got their way on all other social issues, and it’s disgusting. Stigmatizing a behavior is a very libertarian way of dealing with a societal problem. Like how drug use that will cause mental illness and low productivity, stigmas will discourage this behavior and encourage a life of productivity, sobriety, and health.
Similarly, stigmatizing pedophilia will make it recognized among the populace as a bad behavior and therefore discourage it. Of course, in addition to its stigmatization, there should be punishments for it, however those punishments are much more unlikely to come to fruition if society does not recognize pedophilia as a crime, just like punishments for drug use aren’t as likely to come to fruition if the society is accepting of drug use.
Of course, cultural Marxism is about subverting rules that are communally recognized and revered, which is why Marxists apply perpetual revolution theory. Their next revolutionary target has gone from some things that are on the face noble, like homosexual rights, to things that are bizarre and unnecessary, like children.
Hence, it is imperative that Marxists lose this battle and negative stigmas around pedophilia remain. If they win the battle against our most vulnerable population, our children, who knows what social institutions they will be able to subvert next. We absolutely cannot afford to budge an inch on this issue.
