Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Supporters Threaten to Assassinate Steve Scalise

Just under two years ago, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) had an assassination attempt on his life while practicing for the annual congressional baseball game in Washington DC.
A Bernie Sanders supporting left-winger by the name of James Hodgkinson took fire at Scalise and the Republican team, injuring the Senator from Louisiana.
Today, Scalise received more threats from left-wing activists. This time, they were supporters of socialist congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Commenting on Ocasio-Cortez’s radical new proposal to tax the rich at 70%, Scalise said, “Republicans: Let Americans keep more of their own hard-earned money Democrats: Take away 70% of your income and give it to leftist fantasy programs.”
Ocasio-Cortez quote tweeted Scalise, taking aim at the GOP over the tax proposal.

Her rabid supporters pounced on Scalise, and wasted no time in threatening to kill the Republican congressman.
Scalise posted screenshots of threats sent his way, urging Ocasio-Cortez to take the debate off Twitter and onto the House floor where the discussion belongs. One man responded to Ocasio-Cortez saying “snipe his ass.” Another said “she’s got better aim than James Hodgkinson, that’s for sure.”

Ocasio-Cortez has yet to publicly respond to Scalise’s request, and has not denounced her supporters who threatened to assassinate him.
