Long time neoconservative loser and known anti-Trump crusader, Bill Kristol, has now set his sights on a new target in the conservative movement. Kristol, who has continued to out himself as a leftist, like his father before him, took aim at Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Carlson, a favorite of small government conservatives, paleocons, and right-libertarians, was defamed by Kristol in a recent interview with CNBC. Speaking about Carlson’s show, Kristol told CNBC’s John Harwood,
“I mean, it is close now to racism, white — I mean, I don’t know if it’s racism exactly — but ethnonationalism of some kind, let’s call it. A combination of dumbing down, as you said earlier, and stirring people’s emotions in a very unhealthy way.”
Blown away by his egregious accusations, Carlson responded by inviting Kristol onto his show to provide evidence of his claims,
“I’m not even sure what he’s accusing me of. He offers no evidence or examples, just slurs, and then suggests that I’m the demagogue. Pretty funny. Kristol’s always welcome on my show to explain himself, though I assume he’s too afraid to come. What a shame. It would be revealing.”
Kristol, who quotes the Communist Manifesto while maintaining that he is a right-wing conservative, recently came out in support of open migration from “shithole countries,” and said he is anti-America First.
It appears then that Kristol’s underlying motivation in attacking Tucker Carlson come after Carlson said on his show that Norway is a better place to live than Haiti which “is kind of a hole.” Kristol’s ideology often comes into odds with conservatism, and is most evident in his crusade against closed border, America first conservatives, as well as his cries of racism, absent evidence.
