President Trump Shares InfoWars Videos After Facebook Bans Them

Two days ago, Facebook and Instagram banned Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, and InfoWars from their platforms for being “dangerous individuals”.  Facebook also announced their intentions of banning users that share links to InfoWars content without explicitly condemning them.

Conservatives on social media are outraged by Facebook’s decision, and have called on the President of the United States to take action against the tech giant for their unlawful actions.

Trump told his Twitter followers on Friday night, “I am continuing to monitor the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms.”

Trump then linked to a Breitbart article and referenced the banned InfoWars contributor by name, saying, “So surprised to see Conservative thinkers like James Woods banned from Twitter, and Paul Watson banned from Facebook!”

This morning, President Trump retweeted Paul Joseph Watson twice. One of Trump’s retweets included PJW’s most recent YouTube video, explaining how he got banned off of Facebook and Instagram.

Watson wasn’t the only InfoWars contributor Trump shared this morning, however.

President Trump proceeded to share a video from InfoWars’ Millie Weaver, and said, “So great to watch this!”

CNN contributor Oliver Darcy took to Twitter afterwards to vent his frustrations, calling it “reprehensible that the president is legitimizing this organization”.
