Cheesecake Factory Employees Assault Black Customer for Wearing MAGA Hat

Eugenior Joseph, along with his girlfriend and her family, went to The Cheesecake Factory at the Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL for Mother’s Day. But not long after they were seated, Mr. Joseph’s table was confronted by some Cheesecake Factory employees, and they weren’t there to take anyone’s order.

Eugenior was wearing his red “Make America Great Again” hat when he entered the establishment, and this caught the attention of a female staff member who then rounded up other employees to confront the 22-year-old Miami native. According to multiple witnesses and Joseph’s own account, a woman who worked at the restaurant walked up to him and started pointing at his hat, signaling for the other employees to come over.

“Her finger was literally on top of his head; we were all looking at her like ‘what is happening?'” one witness told The Daily Wire. She was pointing at him, calling her other coworkers, telling them to look at this guy wearing a Make America Great Again hat.” At that point, approximately a dozen or so employees approached the table and began making comments about the hat, with some saying they wanted to punch Joseph in the face.

Witnesses also allege that some of the employees also referred to him as a “n**ger” in their conversations among each other. “So then all the employees started standing there, saying things out loud, like, ‘I’m going to knock his head in so hard his hat’s going to come off,” the witness continued. One of the employees gave Joseph intimidating looks, clenching his fists and making hand gestures that appeared to indicate that he was ready to engage in a fistfight.




“He got behind me and another coworker came by and they were staring at each other and he fist bumped him and then he started looking at me, balling his fists, smacking his fists, trying to scare me,” according to Joseph. He then got up to walk to the restroom with his girlfriend Izabella Victores, who was identified by her posts from her Facebook account, while the multiple employees clapped, shouted, and laughed. She posted this on her page claiming her elderly great-grandmother and 8-year-old younger sister were terrified of the angry mob who surrounded their table for no good reason. Witnesses claim members of the kitchen staff also booed loudly as he walked by. When he returned, there was more of the same harassment. The family left the restaurant without ever eating anything and ran into police officers who had been called to the scene supposedly by another patron. At this point, no charges have been filed by Eugenior Joseph or anyone who was with him when just trying to enjoy a Mother’s Day lunch with his girlfriend and her family at Cheesecake Factory.

This is not the first time a MAGA hat has resulted in hostility from fragile leftists, especially if the one wearing it happens to be a member of the Left Wing’s list of marginalized victim-groups. Here is transgender YouTuber and right-leaning political/social commentator Blaire White being grabbed and assaulted for retrieving her boyfriend’s MAGA hat from an anti-Trump protestor in a pink-pussy hat who stole it off his head. Another highly-reported-on-case was this woman, boiling with anger and contempt for anyone Pro-America, who stole a man’s cap and demanding student resources at The University of California punish him for wearing it at a conference on campus. Here is an intense exchange of BLM protestors angrily shouting down a black man wearing his MAGA hat from a few months before the 2016 election, who claim he’s not “woke.” Then there’s the man who was confronted on a New York City train for his MAGA hat by another man who said he wanted to fight but ran away after a few very direct “F**k Off’ s.” Most infamously, there’s the girl who got pepper-sprayed directly in the face at the UC Berkley protests at the scheduled MILO event in early 2017. A young woman conducting a local-news interview about the protest wearing a “Make Bitcoin Great Again” hat was assaulted in the middle of the interview by an assailant who took it for a MAGA hat.

The definition of assault is as follows: “An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm. It is both a crime and a tort and, therefore, may result in either criminal or civil liability. Generally, the common law definition is the same in criminal and Tort Law.” There is no question that the incident at Cheesecake Factory was an assault. If any employees had put their hands on Mr. Joseph, it would have been battery. But surrounding, intimidating, and threatening a man and his girlfriend’s family showing hostility is a textbook definition of assault. Cheesecake Factory responded to this story officially stating: “No guest should ever feel unwelcome in one of our restaurants and we are taking this matter very seriously. Upon learning of this incident, we immediately apologized to the guests in person. The individuals involved have been suspended pending the results of our investigation.” Think about how idiotic and intolerant a person has to be to threaten and gang up on a family just wanting to eat a holiday lunch with very old and very young people there as well because you don’t like the political affiliations of one of the customers. To sacrifice your job and possible-clean-record over something this little, gives conservatives even more confidence that leftists have serious mental issues after seeing stories like this.




There is definite atmosphere of intolerance from leftists towards members of minority groups straying away from what liberals see as the “Inclusive Good Guys” known as the Democratic Party. But it’s especially present among black people who reject the liberal policies. People like Omarosa Manigault, Stacey Dash, Candace Owens, Diamond and Silk, Sherriff David Clarke, Ben Carson, and most recently Kanye West have been vilified and their legitimacy as black people have been attacked mercilessly by people on the left who see them as traitors. The liberal left have shown quite blatantly that you are only worthy of their support, defense, inclusivity, and validity of being whatever demographic you are if AND ONLY IF you support their side’s politics. If not, you’re just another Uncle Tom who deserves whatever he gets.

Eugenior Joseph is a rising star basketball player at The State College of Florida, and is planning on eventually going pro. He’s also a young man just getting into politics. In fact, he’s the same age as the person writing this. It’s guaranteed one’s politics will mold and maybe even change over time, but this instance of hostility, anger, and intolerance just for wearing the memorabilia of the President’s campaign slogan will make him validate himself even more as a conservative. Because no one has ever changed their mind on a topic from the other person by mocking, threatening, and shouting at them.
