Court Orders Antifa Leader To Pay Big For Silencing Speech

Berkeley California Antifa Leader Yvette Felarca has been in some hot water recently regarding Berkeley College Republicans President Troy Worden. The Antifa and BAMN (By Any Means Necessary) Leader has been ordered to pay $11,110 in damages to Worden. Following a ruling made Wednesday after a restraining order filed against Worden by Felarca was dropped in October, which caused Worden and his lawyer, Mark Meuser, to sue for damages and attorney fees.

Harmeet Dhillon of the Dhillon Law Group, through which Meuser is representing Worden, said that Felarca has a history of “filing and dismissing utterly frivolous cases against innocent targets” and pledged to hold her and her lawyers “accountable.”

“Felarca and her fellow travelers in BAMN and Antifa need to learn that the California courts are not their personal plaything to use and abuse at will by filing baseless and vexatious lawsuits,” Dhillon added, with Worden noting that the restraining order prevented him from exercising his free-speech rights on campus.

Yes, this is the same Yvette or known at the time as “Yvonne” Felarca, who is a middle school teacher and who leads the Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration & Immigrant Rights and Fight for Equality by Any Means Necessary. The same screeching leftist who was arrested following a scuffle with demonstrators who had turned out for a Patriot Prayer Rally.

Felarca also was arrested twice in 2017 for incitement of a riot, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer, arguing that the restraining order was an attempt to further stifle Worden’s First Amendment rights after the College Republicans invited several controversial speakers to campus. Worden’s lawyer, Meuser stated: “By ruling that she did not demonstrate good faith in filing the restraining order, the court recognized the frivolous nature of Felarca’s actions.” He also remarked: “The award of attorney fees should send a strong signal that she cannot abuse the court system to silence speech.

Thomas Worden was originally suing Felarca for upwards of $100,000 for libels levied at Worden and his colleagues to defame them, inciting violence against the Berkeley College Republicans and those associated and organizing riots and protests.

Anyone on Felarca’s level of disgrace deserves far more than some steep fees. How is it that parasitical and ungrateful communists like Felarca always get a slap on the wrist? Their ideas are supported and championed by leftists in political positions of power and the media, yet they complain and incite riots whenever the true ideals of America peer through a Marxist campus or electorate? Everyone within the realm of reason should hope for the best and that this commie gets herself in more trouble and thrown in prison as a result of her unlawful actions.
