San Antonio Spurs Coach Says White People Need to be Made Uncomfortable

Amid the steady controversies involving the National Football League, with many players kneeling during the national anthem, athletes and coaches in other professional sports leagues decided to weigh in on the debate as well. San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich recently stated:

“Well, because it’s uncomfortable, and there has to be an uncomfortable element in the discourse for anything to change. Whether it’s the LGBT movement, women’s suffrage, race, it doesn’t matter. People have to be made to feel uncomfortable, and especially white people because we’re comfortable. We still have no clue of what being born white means, if you read some of the recent literature, you’ll realize there really is no such thing as whiteness, but we kind of made that up. That’s not my original thought, but it’s true, because you were born white, you have advantages that are systemically, culturally, psychologically there. And they have been built up and cemented for hundreds of years. But many people can’t look at it. It’s too difficult. It can’t be something that is on their plate on a daily basis. People want to hold their position, people want the status quo, people don’t want to give that up. And until it’s given up, it’s not going to be fixed.”

Isn’t it insane? To see white people as this collective being held at such a standard, it seems kind of white supremacist to me.

There is so much to derive just from his quote itself. If one didn’t know any better, you can notice that he is making the argument from the modern Marxist reinterpretation of America’s foundation, the one taught in public schools and shared among leftist professors that being white is an inherently bad thing, simply because their revised historical narrative says so. But just like feminism, these double standards and false exaggerations just don’t hold up.

Coach Gregg Popovich is also anti-Trump, in the same way that Linda Sarsour is anti-Trump, and has had his own dissenting comments about the commander-in-chief.

The Coach himself says that this is not his original thought, therefore he didn’t arrive at his conclusions based on reason and evidence, he just simply looked at what all the academics are saying nowadays. He tries to push along the idea that “Whiteness” perpetuated all the evils of history, and that we need to be made to feel “uncomfortable”. I don’t know if this guy has been paying attention, but there has been anti-white, anti-west rhetoric spewing from the left for at least the past 50 years, and especially recently.

Whites are the bullseye on the target board of society’s blame, rather than recognizing the long-term issues associated with an infringing state, welfare usage, or transgenerational debt, as well as cultural problems in society such as the flooding of economic migrants into western regions, or the rampant cultural Marxism in western culture which has turned us into 1920’s Germany.

All of this is built upon the lie that whites are a pillaging colonial group with no culture of their own, which is absolutely false. We can trace it back to ancient Europe, and possibly even Egypt. Whites do have a culture and it is the culture that has produced the most, both ideologically and materially, so that its own society and others could flourish: Greece, Rome, Constantinople, Ireland, London, Christianity – the first philosophical and political enlightenments that stopped people from being barbarians, and created the greatest innovations. But nope, we apparently just don’t like gays, blacks or jews and that’s all there is to it.

Someone should ask the Coach that if white people are so privileged, then why aren’t there more of them in the NBA? There’s certainly a disparity, and it’s majority black. There should be lowered standards and quotas to fix this inequality and have more white people in the NBA!

Aside from the misinformed Coach’s comments, many others in national sports have caught the same “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and have been screeching about white supremacy against President Donald Trump. Now, you don’t have to like or agree with the President, but please have enough dignity to not fall for the Ol’ media one-two about him being a racist, misogynist, literally Hitler, like ESPN’s Jemelle Hill who outright called the president a “white supremacist”, and a supporter of her comment was none other than Colin Kaepernick, the kneeler himself. That’s simply not the case at all.

This anti-White rhetoric is spilling over into everything; the NFL, the NBA, and pop culture at this point is to hate white people, and they keep caving to the demands of leftists and destroying themselves. It’s all sadly Marxist, racist, and anti-liberty, and I say this because people should have the property rights to be able to discriminate however they want, but this type of racism is occurring on a massive scale against whites, and has the backing of the state. Makes you wonder, wouldn’t that be considered genocide?
