Yesterday, the senile old warmonger from Arizona, Senator John McCain, went on the offensive against Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) for not supporting legislation that would allow Montenegro to join NATO. McCain stupefyingly proclaimed to the Senate floor:
“The only conclusion you can draw when [Rand Paul] walks away is he has no justification for his objection to having a small nation be part of NATO that is under assault from the Russians. So I repeat again, the senator from Kentucky is now working for Vladimir Putin.”
But Rand wasn’t going to let McCain get away with a slap in the face like that so easily.
The Kentucky Senator, who one month ago said that “John McCain has been wrong on just about everything”, went on MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning to say:
“I think [Senator McCain] makes a really, really strong case for term limits. I think maybe he’s past his prime; I think maybe he’s gotten a little bit unhinged.”
