The Hill is reporting that President Trump will be taking the globalists head on, as he plans on signing an executive order to cut billions in funding for the United Nations. According to the New York Times, “The order calls for then enacting ‘at least a 40 percent overall decrease’ in remaining United States funding toward international organizations.”
The executive order, which is titled Auditing and Reducing U.S. Funding of International Organizations, will also cut funds for “organizations that give full membership to the Palestinian Authority or Palestine Liberation Organization, or support programs that fund abortion or any activity that circumvents sanctions against Iran or North Korea.” The order will also withdraw funds for any international organization which “is controlled or substantially influenced by any state that sponsors terrorism.”
Roughly a quarter of all funds for the United Nations come from the United States of America, and this move by Trump will send a strong message. This announcement comes on the heels of Trump’s announcements to drastically cut taxes and regulations, eliminate arts programs and heavily slash the EPA, and if it reaches his desk, sign off on a bill that will permanently ban taxpayer funding for abortions.
